Farmer-led CSA best practices in Africa revealed in new report

The Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF) and Accelerating Impacts of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA) unveiled a report showcasing ten farmer-led Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) initiatives across nine African countries. These case studies, selected from 55 submissions, highlighted how farmers integrated traditional knowledge with scientific expertise to build resilience and adapt to climate change.

The featured initiatives demonstrated innovative approaches to climate adaptation, including sustainable soil and water management, CSA technologies, and multi-stakeholder collaborations. These farmer-driven solutions offered valuable lessons on strengthening agricultural resilience in the face of climate challenges.
