Yenkasa Africa celebrated International Youth Day 2024 on August 12, which had the theme “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.” This was aligned with the platform’s mission of achieving food security through innovative digital solutions.
Yenkasa Africa also recognizes how young people, as digital natives, can become catalysts of change in the current digital age.
Three of its ComDev programs that engage the youth sector to participate in agricultural endeavors include Participatory Video (PV) Training, annual radio campaigns, and experience capitalization. Through the power of communication, these programs aim for the youth to be able to amplify the voices of their communities, enabling them to participate in discourses that affect them.
