In a regional forum on Rural Communication Services and Family Farming held on July 7, 2022, the abandonment of field work among young farmers in pursuit of alternative careers was reported. The lack of agricultural work opportunities and appreciation for women in the field have contributed to the decline in the agricultural workforce.
Strengthening the peasant identity is needed through the promotion of adequate training techniques and the development of a systematic approach for knowledge sharing.
