The Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC) is calling for abstracts for its 22nd Annual Conference on July 4-7, 2013, Melia Purosani Hotel, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Deadline for submission is on April 30, 2013.
The theme of the conference is ‘Transformational Communication and the New Asia’. The conference proposes to take stock of Asian media and communication studies, keeping in mind the challenges and opportunities arising out of globalisation, new media and the resurgence of Asia. The conference seeks to address the problems and prospects that emerge from these new global developments for media practitioners, media owners and operators, and communication scholars, especially in terms of examining and analysing present theory and practice.
Abstracts should be submitted via email conference@amic.org.sg, full paper is due on June 1, 2013.
