Philippine Rice Research Institute
The Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) is one of the Philippine rice research institutes. PhilRice plays a key role in building and sustaining a competitive rice economy through research into farming systems, technology, and policy-making.
Capacity development initiatives: Philrice is engaged in the production of IEC materials in science communication, research, technology dissemination, and science popularization, as well as the use of knowledge management and design and publication of KM products. PhilRice also conducts regular and customized training and manages the K-Agrinet along with other initiatives.
