The ICT4D Collective was initiated in 2004 and is a group of people committed to undertaking the highest possible quality of research in the field of ICT4D, and making the results of this available freely to the global community. This is done primarily in the interests of poor people and marginalized communities, wherever they may be found.
Based at Royal Holloway, University of London, the Collective draws on the expertise of staff in the academic Departments and Schools of Geography, Computer Science, Management, Mathematics (Information Security Group) and the New Political Communication Unit in Politics and International Relations, as well as in the Information Services Department and the Educational Development Centre.
