The College of Development Communication (CDC) of the University of Los Banos hosted two staff from the Bangladesh Ministry of Agriculture to increase their understanding of rural communication for development in the framework of the FAO project TCP/BGD/3205 on “Enhancing Rural Communication Services for Agricultural Development through Community Rural Radio”.
From May 22 to June 2, 2011, they were supported by Dean Cleofe Torres and Prof Maria Stella Tirol in a learning experience on ComDev that included lectures, expert’s talks, discussions and guided exercises, as well as field visits and interactions with staff and listeners groups in selected agricultural institutions and rural radio stations.
