Farm Radio International is a Canadian-based, not-for-profit organization working in direct partnership with approximately 400 radio broadcasters in 39 African countries to fight poverty and food insecurity. Our materials are also available electronically to broadcasters and to rural development organizations in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Capacity development initiatives: Farm Radio offers several face-to-face and on line courses, such as the Farmer Program e-Course focused on designing a regular (daily or weekly) farmer program to serve small-scale farmers in a station’s listening area.

Description: Panos London is an international institution whose mission is to stimulate informed and inclusive public debate around key development issues, in order to foster sustainable and equitable development. Its aim is to ensure that the perspectives of the people whose lives are most affected by development (mainly the poor and marginalised) are included within decision-making. Panos brings a wide range of expertise in all aspects of information and communication for development, and have extensive experience working with a broad cross-section of international agencies, government departments.
Capacity development initiatives: Panos London offers international development practitioners an opportunity to see how communication can improve their own development initiatives by advising on the design of large-scale strategic communication initiatives and running workshops on communication methodologies.

It has a strong track record of amplifying the voices of children and communities and harnessing the power of communication to promote child survival, development, protection and participation. UNICEF supports social mobilization, advocacy and behaviour and social change campaign. Since 2007, UNICEF has reinvigorated its work in Communication for Development with a view to obtaining stronger programme results and greater traction for policy change to benefit children, their families, communities and societies.
