Are you making the difference in addressing climate change?
The UN Climate Change Secretariat is looking for successful projects to become the Momentum for Change’s 2015 Lighthouse Activities. Applications are open to members of any organizations, communities, cities, businesses, governments and others taking concrete action on climate change
in one or more of the following focus areas:
- Urban Poor
- Women for Results
- Financing for Climate Friendly Investment
- ICT Solutions
The Momentum for Change Advisory Panel will select a small number of activities to be showcased at special events during the UN Climate Change Conference this December in Paris, France. Basic eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Address climate change mitigation or adaptation
- Be already implemented, or in the course of implementation
- Be scalable and/or replicable with potential for long-term impact
- Be innovative and/or demonstrate potential for long-term transformational change
- Deliver verifiable social and environmental benefits
- Not be registered or have intentions to register as a clean development mechanism (CDM) or joint implementation (JI) initiative in the next two years
