UN-FAO tackles ‘The Future of Family Farming’

In the framework of the United Nations Decade of Family Farming 2019 – 2028  (UNDFF), the Family Farming Engagement Team is pleased to invite you to join our series of discussions on “The Future of Family Farming”. The discussion about the future of family farming will bring together academics, policymakers and family farmers to reflect together on the ways family farmers can be the foundation of sustainable and inclusive agrifood systems that offer new economic opportunities and effective rural services, leaving no one behind.

The first discussion happened on 23 January 2024, 2PM (Rome Time), at FAO Headquarters in Malaysia and via Zoom. The hybrid event tackled the different dimensions on why family farming continues to thrive and strive amid different local and global challenges.
