The Food and Agriculture Organization’s Indigenous Peoples group is now open to submissions of design and visual artwork.
The team works together with indigenous peoples toward the goal of ending discrimination, and recognising the value of traditional indigenous knowledge in nature management, food systems and sustainable agricultural practices, among others.
In this light, the team is working to strengthen its communication strategy using images that reflect indigenous peoples’ views of the world as a holistic system in which identity, spirituality, land, community, traditions, culture and nature are interlinked.
This open call is to reach out to indigenous peoples who are interested in sending their designs and visual artwork for use in the website, outreach documents, newsletters and other advocacy materials.
