As part of the continued partnership of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Association of Community Broadcasters (AMARC), their respectively Office of Corporate Communication join forces again this year to facilitate the production of 40 audio pieces by producers and community radio journalists.
The international audio series dubbed as “Communicating Development” will facilitate access to the following:
- Best management practices
- Increase public education
- Encourage dissemination of scientific knowledge
This year’s audio pieces will focus on various themes such as nutrition, food security, health, biodiversity, and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
Interested producers and community radio journalists are invited to send a proposal on the following themes:
- International Year of Pulses
- Zero Hunger
- Climate Change
Chosen auido pieces will be uploaded on a dedicated page on AMARC’s and FAO’s websites, respectively from March to December 2016.
