Latin America and the Caribbean holds 37th FAO Regional Conference

From March 28 to April 1, member countries of the Food and Agriculture Organization from Latin America and the Caribbean will hold the 37th FAO Regional Conference focused on the transformation of agri-food systems. The hybrid conference is currently being held in Quito, Ecuador.

Based on the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Regional Conference aims “to define the regional priorities to adapt and to localize the FAO Strategic Framework 2022-2031 to the conditions of Latin America and the Caribbean.” Furthermore, it will focus on “more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agri-food systems for better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life, leaving no one behind.”
